I recently bought (finally) CMAK. I installed etc...I am getting some strange video output when I fire it up. for example the green ground is black patches in places. I have reinstalled a few times. CMBO and CMBB run fine on this old G3 Macintosh and CMAK runs but with these strange image problems. Suggestions....Anyone !!!! ????

Also this old g3 has a DVD rom drive which was a big first for these machines back in the day. MB there is something off with that as well that 9.2.2 might fix. I see there is a firmware update for that. Still if anyone knows...anything please chime in. OH and there is no Sound despite me toggling the sound options etc. regards, hd

I am playing around with some old mac's I have sitting around which run the classic version of mac os 9. If I really wanted I could run windows versions of the games on my MacBook Pro's or Intel Imacs. Just not interested in that since I have a copy of a mac version and don't desire to buy another. Having worked on PC's and even run PC labs for a good number of years but also having used Mac's for over 20 yrs I have a pretty good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each and their prospective systems.

On the PC side I have ALWAYS had problems with the installers even though they are just copying files to some dir or another. From CMBO's simple little copy program to CMAK's install shield I had nothing but trouble and have been careful to simply copy full installs from machine to machine since the first try.
